For seven weeks every summer, a troupe of black-necked goats passes through the Bahnhofstrasse in Zermatt on their way to and from the Alpine meadows. Hundreds of tourists gather along this route to photograph the animals, which are considered by many to be the most photographed goats in the world.

Baroque Festival Florence

The Strudel Festival, launched in 2003, is an annual event dedicated to the most famous Austrian pastry. During this period, all over the province, you can taste the various types of bread and pastries that South Tyrolean bakers have prepared for this occasion.
International Woodcarving Symposium

Tour de France

Cycling enthusiasts won't want to miss the Tour de France, which will be hosted in Morzine this year. A large mountain village in the Hauts Savoie region of the French Alps, Morzine is steeped in cycling history and home to lots of incredible cycling routes.

Don't miss out on the chance to see musical productions set against a stunning mountain panorama. The Thunerseespiele company presents an open-air musical every summer with the majestic mountains of the Bernese Oberland in the background and a stage built upon the waters of Lake Thun.
DoloMyths Run Skyrace
Where: Canazei, Italy
When: 14th - 16th July 2023
For those who enjoy mountain sports, the DoloMyth Skyrace in Canazei is not to be missed. The course begins in the town of Canazei and ends at Piz Boè, twisting and turning through woods, paths, and slopes, all at an altitude of 1702 meters. Competitors are called “Skyrunners” (Corridori del Cielo). For viewers, there is the option to use a cable car to go up and watch from above.
Big Family Week

The Big Family Week is a week-long festival for the whole family, featuring many highlights for children (e.g. theatre play, fire show) and free participation for everyone. It's packed full of fun every day of the week in scenic Stubai Valley.
Where: Salzburg, Austria

The musical highlight on the summer calendar is the Salzburg Festival. This prestigious festival presents top-class performances of opera, plays, and concerts of the highest artistic standards over a period of five to six weeks each summer in a city whose baroque architecture is second to none.
28th Festival Bled
Where: Lake Bled, Slovenia
When: 1st - 20th July 2023
For a few days every year, Lake Bled promenade is filled with local art and music. If you visit during this time, be sure to take in the beautiful sight of 15,000 fluorescent eggshells floating on Lake Bled. This is part of the town's traditional celebration, which aims to celebrate the beauty of the lake for which it's famous.
In addition to this spectacle, visitors to Bled can see local crafts and listen to live music along the promenade.
The event also focuses on sustainability and supports the Zero Waste movement. As part of the Zero Waste Society Project, Bled's Municipality uses separate bins for paper, wood, bamboo and other biodegradable materials to serve food at the venue.

Cosmojazz Festival in Chamonix, scheduled for 22nd to 29th July 2023, will feature free concerts in the mountains of Vallée de Trient and Chamonix Mont-Blanc Valley. These daytime performances will take place on sites chosen by the festival for their majestic scenery and exceptional panoramas.
Toscana Music Festival

Lech Musicians Day

Every year, locals and visitors gather in the town of Lech to celebrate Lech Musicians' Day. The festival is a time for musicians to come together, exchange ideas and make music.
Folk musicians, singers, and dancers perform all day in Alpine huts, on mountain pastures in the open air, or inside the chalet lounges if the weather is bad.
The Garda Jazz Festival
