From there, you will use your Cinque Terre rail card to travel to the remaining villages: Vernazza (famous for its fishing and olive oil), Corniglia (perched high on the rocks and surrounded by vineyards), Manarola (whose local wine ‘Sciacchetra’ boasts a recipe not changed from Roman times) and Riomaggiore (whose mountains hide the Via dell’Amore – a one kilometre long pedestrian street overlooking the sea, which historically allowed lovers from both regions to meet).
After exploring these five villages, you will take dinner in one of the local restaurants and enjoy the fruits of the region before returning to your hotel.

After a morning of walking and sightseeing, reward yourself with a cocktail at the Al Faro Bar just next door and revel in the true Portofino lifestyle – sipping an aperitivo and overlooking the gorgeous azure bay.
