Parc Hotel Gritti

  • Lake Garda, Italy, Bardolino

Ratings/reviewsClick for full ratings

Just a short stroll from the edge of Lake Garda and the popular Lido Mirabello beach, Parc Hotel Gritti offers excellent value for money and maintains a homely atmosphere. The interior decor is eclectic with classic Italian design mixing with modern touches and mahogany fixtures, many of which have been made locally or are antiques housed by the Gritti for decades. Standard rooms are more classical, spacious and simplistic, offering good value for money whilst the Privilege rooms which have been renovated in recent years are brighter with airy colours and a touch of luxury.

With no less than three restaurants, you’ll be able to enjoy a large choice of cuisine from classic Italian favourites to more international fare. The Cirpriani restaurant is sleek yet comfortable and the location for half board meals. White gold linen, crystal glasses and high ceilings create a relaxing an airy space in which to enjoy their rich buffet breakfast with hot and cold choices as well as the dinner service which offers traditional homemade pastas, rich salads and sinful desserts. The D'annunzio restaurant is much more casual and offers a hot and cold buffet service, ideal for an alternative breakfast or even popping in for lunch. The gourmet restaurant is a fixed tasting menu straight from the minds of the kitchen team and offers not just lovely cuisine but a sommelier service to advise which wine would best be paired with the treasures on your plate.

Outside, the luscious gardens harbour a large swimming pool with sunbathing platform complete with parasols and loungers. The Ceasar Wells spa centre offers a light sauna, Turkish bath, celidarium (a heated room with plunge baths) and a frigidarium to counter the effects of the warm water. There is also a beauty treatment menu including sports massages which can be paid for locally.

Restaurants and Bars

Parc Hotel Gritti is home to three restaurants offering different levels of dining from informal settings with light snacks to tasting menus designed by the chefs.

Cipriani is a bright and airy space which serves as the location for half board dining. Breakfast is a rich spread of continental treats such as freshly baked pastries with local jam, cold cuts and cheeses as well as hot options. Dinner service is also buffet with four courses of traditional Italian cuisine such as homemade pastas, vibrant salads and locally sourced fish dishes.

D'Annunzio offers casual dining with a hot and cold buffet breakfast service and light lunch time snacks including sandwiches, salads and small plates. Local charges apply for lunches.

Gourmet provides haute cuisine fresh from the minds of the head chefs. Tasting menus are prepared daily so that no menu is the same and with an ethos of creativity, its not uncommon to see the likes of swordfish, monkfish, duck and veal along with some superb vegetarian dishes all complimented by wines from the menu which can be recommended by the sommelier. Please note that reservations are required for Gourmet and charges apply.

There is a stylish hotel bar boasting a fabulous cocktail menu which tropical twists on the commonly seen cocktails as well as traditional Aperol and Hugo drinks. The bar has a wonderful indoor space with modern furnishings which spills out into the garden and pool area.

*Please note that for all restaurants, gentlemen are required to wear trousers or smart jeans. Casual jeans and shorts are not permitted.

Pools and Beaches

From its position just off the lake, the Parc Hotel Gritti offers close proximity to the popular Mirabello beach. This man made space is different from many other Lake Garda beaches in that it has a grass verge rather than pebbles making it ideal for families or just sitting and having a picnic with the water at your feet. The beach is located on a small promenade with ice cream parlours, bars and restaurants just off the historical centre of town meaning you can spend the whole day here and never run out of things to do and see.

The Parc Hotel Gritti itself has two swimming pools; a large outdoor pool with sunbathing platform, parasols and sun loungers as well as a quieter indoor pool modeled after the Roman Baths.

Spa Facilities

There is a vast spa area on the ground floor and lower ground floor of the Parc Hotel Gritti where you can find all you'll need for resting any weary limbs following a day of exploring the resort. Amenities include a large Turkish bath, indoor pool, infrared sauna, solarium, frigidarium and calidarium which offer hot and cold plunge pools, a favourite amongst the Romans to promote good circulation and health.

Beauty treatments and massages can also be enjoyed here but must be booked and paid for locally.

Outdoor pool with large sun terraces, indoor pool, fitness room and acqua gym (all free)
