Ratings/reviewsClick for full ratings

Just a short stroll from the edge of Lake Garda and the popular Lido Mirabello beach, Parc Hotel Gritti offers good value for money and maintains a homely atmosphere. The interior decor is eclectic with classic Italian design mixing with modern touches and mahogany fixtures, many of which have been made locally or are antiques housed by the Gritti for decades. Standard rooms are more classical, spacious and simplistic whilst the Privilege rooms have been renovated in recent years and are brighter with airy colours.

With no less than three restaurants, you’ll be able to enjoy a large choice of cuisine from classic Italian favourites to more international fare. Outside, the gardens house a large swimming pool with a sunbathing platform complete with parasols and loungers. The Ceasar Wells spa centre offers a light sauna, Turkish bath, celidarium (a heated room with plunge baths) and a frigidarium to counter the effects of the warm water. There is also a beauty treatment menu including sports massages which can be paid for locally.

Please note that children under the age of 10 are not permitted to stay at this property.

Bardolino lies at the foot of rolling hills covered with orchards, olive groves and the vineyards for which the town is so famous. Your holiday in Bardolino offers excellent accommodation while the attractive and lively traffic-free centre is home to numerous bars, restaurants and smart shops. Its main square is full of inviting terrace cafés where you can relax and enjoy a glass of the excellent locally produced wine. Evening choir and music concerts are also often held in the square.

Bardolino has a very pretty harbour and a scenic two mile walk along the lakeside promenade takes you to neighbouring Garda. Ferries and hydrofoils provide a pleasant and relaxing way to explore other lakeside villages, each with their own individual character and atmosphere. Holidays here offer lakeside relaxation at it's best.

Things to do in resort

Zeni Winery

Within walking distance of the town, this impressive winery offers tastings and has a museum where you can discover the history of wine.

Olive Oil Museum

As well as wine, Bardolino is known for its olive oil. You’ll find a museum about two kilometres outside the town where you can see traditional equipment used to make the oil and a shop where you can buy some of the produce.

Join the locals and enjoy some shopping while in Bardolino. You’ll find quality leather, fine art and designer clothing in the many shops in the centre of town. A weekly farmer’s market takes place every Thursday.#

Bardolino Wine Festival

The Wine Festival in Bardolino in October brings the summer season on Lake Garda to a close. Five days celebrating the new harvest of the grapes from which the famous Bardolino wines are made. Restaurants & Bars

Cipriani is a bright and airy space which serves as the location for half board dining. Breakfast is a rich spread of treats such as freshly baked pastries with local jam, cold cuts and cheeses as well as hot options. Dinner service is also buffet with four courses of traditional Italian cuisine such as homemade pastas, vibrant salads and locally sourced fish dishes.

D'Annunzio offers casual dining with a hot and cold buffet breakfast service and light lunch time snacks including sandwiches, salads and small plates. Local charges apply for lunches.

Gourmet provides haute cuisine with tasting menus changing daily. Its not uncommon to see the likes of swordfish, monkfish, duck and veal along with some superb vegetarian dishes all complemented by fine wines, which can be recommended by the sommelier. Reservations are required.

There is a stylish hotel bar boasting a fabulous cocktail menu which tropical twists on the commonly seen cocktails as well as traditional Aperol and Hugo drinks. The bar has a wonderful indoor space with modern furnishings which spills out into the garden and pool area.

Please note that for all restaurants, gentlemen are required to wear trousers or smart jeans. Casual jeans and shorts are not permitted.

Pools & Beaches

From its position just off the lake, Parc Hotel Gritti offers close proximity to the popular Mirabello beach. This man made space is different from many other Lake Garda beaches in that it has a grass verge rather than pebbles making it ideal for families or just sitting and having a picnic with the water at your feet. The beach is located on a small promenade with ice cream parlours, bars and restaurants just off the historical centre of town meaning you can spend the whole day here and never run out of things to do and see.

The Parc Hotel Gritti itself has two swimming pools; a large outdoor pool with sunbathing platform, parasols and sun loungers as well as a quieter indoor pool modeled after the Roman Baths. Pool opens 8.30am - 7.30pm.

There is a vast spa area on the ground floor and lower ground floor of the hotel where you can find all you'll need to relax. Amenities include a large Turkish bath, indoor pool, infrared sauna, solarium, frigidarium and calidarium which offer hot and cold plunge pools, a favourite amongst the Romans to promote good circulation and health.

Beauty treatments and massages can also be enjoyed here but must be booked and paid for locally.

An outdoor pool with large sun terraces, indoor pool, fitness room and acqua gym are all free of charge.
