Hotel Allalin is a very attractive family-run hotel with excellent standards, enjoying a central yet quiet Saas Fee location. Receiving excellent feedback, the hotel is a favourite in our programme due to the friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome. The lifts are a short five minutes’ walk away so you are well placed to explore the superb walking opportunities in the region.

In the restaurant you will be impressed by the interior design using 350 year old larch wood. Expect to pampered with both regional and international dishes. Be sure to relax with a drink in the bar and modern lounge, or in the pleasant gardens and terrace where you can sit and enjoy the complimentary afternoon tea and cakes. Other facilities include a new sauna and relaxation area where you can enjoy lovely views. Traditionally styled rooms can be made up as twins or doubles, larger Suites sleep up to four guests and are great for families.

Rooms

Classic Twin Rooms are around 30m² and sleep up to three (single sofa bed). These rooms are traditionally styles and have a bath and south facing balcony. Facilities in all rooms include sitting corner, satellite TV, telephone, radio, safe and hairdryer. All rooms can be made up as twins or doubles.

Superior Twin Rooms are refurbished and spacious. Facilities in these rooms are otherwise the same as Classic Rooms.

Classic Suites are around 50m² and sleep three to four. These rooms also have a bath and south facing balcony.

North Facing Rooms are double rooms that are for single use. These rooms are around 30m² with a shower and are north facing (no balcony).

Saas Fee

Beautifully positioned with a magnificent backdrop of snow-dusted peaks and cool blue glaciers, Saas Fee is a picturesque traffic-free mountain resort retaining the charm of its rural past, with narrow winding streets and sun-worn houses and barns. The walking possibilities are endless and the FREE use of most resort lifts and local buses for all guests make it easy to explore this beautiful area. Several cable-cars and chairlifts take you up above the village for spectacular views and higher walking paths, many above the treeline. The local buses, which take you to the nearby villages of Saas Grund, Saas Balen and Saas Allmagell are also included. A must is a ride on the Metro Alpin, the world’s highest underground funicular railway, to stop for a delicious lunch at the top of Mittelallalin for superb 360° views. Our hotels in Saas Fee offer a great choice of accommodation. Saas-Fee’s traffic-free streets are also lined with a good selection of shops, cafés, bars and restaurants to relax away the afternoons.

In Saas Fee the walking possibilities are endless, and several cable-cars and chairlifts take you up above the village for spectacular views and higher paths. A must is a ride to the summit of the Metro Alpin, the world's highest underground funicular railway. Many Saas Fee hotels organise guided walks and picnics for guests to enjoy, whilst the tourist office also arranges a regular programme of concerts and folklore events. The village has a good selection of cafés, bars and restaurants. A day-trip to Zermatt to see the iconic Matterhorn is a must!
