Hotel Rodella is a charming property set on a hillside above Selva, meaning it has some spectacular views over the resort and the beautiful mountain scenery.

This is a lovely family-run hotel and guests are assured of a warm welcome. The stylish yet cosy atmosphere creates a home away from home. Three dining rooms are the perfect retreat after a day spent exploring and staff will be on hand to serve up some delicious dishes using high-quality, local ingredients. Once a week, you can also enjoy a Tyrolean themed night that showcases some of the region’s most popular food.

The hotel is well-placed for exploring the area. It’s just two and half kilometres from the centre of Selva, which can be reached by a pleasant walk or by the hotel’s shuttle bus, and the nearest lift is just 15 minutes away.

Selva

At the head of the splendid Gardena valley, Selva is located beneath the jagged peaks of this most spectacular part of the Dolomites, a particularly beautiful Alpine mountain chain in the Süd Tyrol region of northern of Italy.

Selva di Val Gardena (to give it its full name in Italian) is also known as Wolkenstein in Gröden in German or simply Selva in the popular local Ladin language, with all three linguistic cultures intermingling to create a fascinating fusion of human life.

We have a good selection of hotels in Selva and a range of activities for guests, especially for walkers who take gentle rambles along lush river valleys as well as more invigorating high altitude ridge treks accessed by an extensive lift system.

Buses also go further to Brixen or Bolzano, and our excursions travel as far afield as Lake Garda and Venice
