Mont Tremblant

  • Transfer time approx. 1 hour 30 mins
  • 753 acres of skiable terrain
  • 102 ski trails
  • 3 snowparks

Mont Tremblant, with its cobbled streets and quaint houses, is the most colourful and atmospheric ski town in the Quebec province. Consistently voted the ‘Best Resort in Eastern North America’ by the Ski Magazine, this slope-side pedestrian village is perfectly constructed with skiers in mind. The resort inherited its name from the local First Nation tribe, the Algonquins, who called it the ‘trembling mountain’. The village of Tremblant first became a ski resort in 1939 when American, Joseph Bondurant Ryan constructed its first chair lift.

Skiing and snowboarding in Mont Tremblant

Located at 875 metres, Mont Tremblant is one of the highest peaks in the Laurentians National Park and provides four mountain faces of extensive skiing: Versant Sud, Versant Soleil, Versant Nord and the Edge. It’s possibly the best skiing you can do in Eastern Canada with an excellent variety of groomed runs.

Skiing in Mont Tremblant attracts visitors of all ages and experience from all over the world, and for good reason. The ski area offers a range of slopes, all varying in difficulty and landscape, as well as a great ski school and some delightful pit-stops for a hot chocolate or two. The ski area covers over 753 acres and includes 102 ski trails for you to explore, so there'll be plenty of piste to keep you entertained.

Snowboarding in Mont Tremblant has become one of the most popular sports in the world next to skiing. Mont Tremblant is one of the largest boarding areas in Canada, giving boarders access to 30 acres of landscape across 3 snowparks. These parks overlook the panoramic views of the lake and country side, so whilst you're hitting a jump or ramp, you have some incredible views to keep you company.

Where to stay in Mont Tremblant

Mont Tremblant is also known as ‘the Disneyland of winter ski’ and the blend of Québécois and American architecture in the resort gives the resort a unique and charming atmosphere. We offer a range of hotels and apartments across resort, all available on range of board basis from self catering to half board. Everything is within walking distance and you can easily reach the ski lifts from many of our hotels.

Bars and restaurants in Mont Tremblant

The added benefit of a ski holiday to Mont Tremblant is the excellent food and drink offered in resort. Whatever you feel like eating, you'll be able to find a restaurant or café that meets all your needs - pick between French, Italian, Asian and many more cuisines. The French-speaking culture of Quebec perfectly blends Canadian and French cuisine to create some of the tastiest food in North America.

After a day on the slopes, there'll be plenty of opportunities to have a drink in the evening. Socialise over a cold beer or relax with a cocktail in one of the many cocktail bars. The lively nightlife adds to this resorts charm and makes it an all round favourite.
